Dachshunds are prone to back problems, more than any other race. It is an innate characteristic that is always a risk with any doxie and doxie mix. To reduce risk, always at your back supported movement to ensure plenty of exercise, good nutrition and that it does not jump on furniture or outdoors and avoid stairs.

Dachshunds generally develop back problems because of their long backs. Make sure he / she is not overweight, as this only serve to aggravate the problem and your dog make pain more.
